About the event
This course introduces a powerful approach to understanding how limiting beliefs shape the body and influence patterns of tension, pain, and behavior. Drawing from yoga therapy and somatic psychotherapy, including principles from the Hakomi Method, participants will explore core developmental wounds and the defense strategies they create.
Through a combination of theory and practice, you will learn how to work with these patterns—known as samskaras—using yoga therapy tools and techniques to support emotional and behavioral change. The course focuses on the manomaya kosha (mental-emotional body) and vijnanamaya kosha (wisdom body), which influence all other layers of being and can disconnect us from our natural state of peace and joy.
Designed for yoga teachers, yoga therapists, and dedicated practitioners, this training offers practical skills for personal transformation and for supporting students and clients in creating lasting change.
